Relationships PT. 4

Dr. Phil is our featured guest today. He is also a board member on our Business Power Connection Group. See Relationships for more details on BPC. He was kind enough to provide me with the content he would like me to share, and I am delighted to do so. Here you go:

Whether you have been in the neighborhood just a few weeks or a few years, we at Active Living Chiropractic would like to introduce you to our practice!

One of the most difficult decisions you will have to make is finding a Chiropractor for you and your family. Without the advice of a trusted friend who may know a local Chiropractor, you will be faced with choosing a name at random from the telephone directory or following a sign on the side of a building.

We are here to help you make that decision in a way more in keeping with your expectations of high quality Chiropractic care.

We offer individual care for all members of your family. Our comprehensive Chiropractic services include treatment of lower back pain, headaches, scoliosis, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, hypertension, stiff shoulders, tingling/numbness in the fingers, ear infections, sinus problems, ADHD, and many other conditions.

We feel that you should be able to talk to a Chiropractor in person, to find out if their practice is one that your family would feel comfortable with. Ideally, the meeting should also include a spinal examination to determine what type of care, if any, might be needed.

Located at the corner of Randall and Miller roads (across the street from Woodman's Market, a few stores down from the Randall Road House Grill) in Carpentersville, Illinois, Dr. Philip Que is dedicated to helping you achieve your wellness objectives - combining skill and expertise that spans the entire chiropractic wellness spectrum. Dr. Phil is committed to bringing you better health and a better way of life by teaching and practicing the true principles of chiropractic wellness care.

Practice members seeking care at Active Living Chiropractic with Dr. Phil is assured of receiving only the finest quality care through the use of modern chiropractic equipment and technology. Dr. Phil and staff have a genuine concern for
your well-being!

The 44th President and me

Today is a day that many of us will recall the rest of our lives. The election of the 44th President of the United States has affected me and I suspect will affect me for years to come. For some more personal views on what I think about today's events, visit http://rick-undone.blogspot.com/2009/01/congratulations-to-united-states-of.html

For this post, I will briefly focus on the implications to my business and perhaps yours. To be perfectly honest, I am very concerned. I think that regardless of who was elected, Americans would be faced with a very uncertain future. The fact that a Democratic President is joining a Democratic Congress has me more that just a little bit nervous. Add to that the fact that Mr. President does not exactly have a long record of past performance against which one might judge future expectations. When I peer into my crystal ball, I see today's euphoria quickly dissipating into a general feeling of despair and hopelessness.

Foreclosures are expected to set yet another record in 2009. Unemployenment is likely to do the same. One thing is certain and that is our National Debt will increase exponentially. Mind you that I am fully aware that all of this was set to occur well before today's inauguration. I am not blaming our new President, on his first day in office. What I am saying is, "this is where the rubber hits the road!" The campaign is over. Tomorrow he gets to sit in his "thinking chair" and see if Blue can give him a clue...

The first 100 days is crucial in every president's tenure. You can bet that I will be paying much more attention this time around that I ever have. We all have too much at stake here... Do you know who your Congressman is? How about your Senator. Here in Illinois, we just bought a new one!!! Keep their email addresses handy. If you feel like the man you voted for is veering to the left or the right of the course he plotted during the campaign, don't wait. Speak up and speak up quickly. And to be fair, if I see positive results, I'll be the first to dash off a quick thank you note.
